چکیده
Objective: In India Indigenous system of medicine, the plant Eichhornia crassipes (Mart.) Solms is claimed to be useful for different ailments. The purpose this study investigate significant activity ethanolic extract E. whole in treatment renal stone by ethylene glycol (EG)-induced urolithiasis Wistar rats. Methods: rat will divided into four groups. All animals received EG 0.75%v/v orally 28 days. Group I was Groups II, III, and IV were cystone, (200 mg/kg, 400 mg/kg), respectively, administered from 15th 28th day curative regimen. Animals housed metabolic cages collect 24 h urine samples serum on 7th, 14th, 21th, experiments. Under microscopical observe crystals sample. biochemical parameters monitored present are calcium, oxalate, magnesium, phosphorus, urea, creatinine, uric acid, blood urea nitrogen (BUN), lactate dehydrogenase (LDH) samples. Results: feeding resulted elevated excretion phosphate, decreased magnesium as well-elevated BUN, LDH levels, pH volume. Treatment significantly reduced oxalate well level serum. It also restores normal promotes output. Conclusion: Ethanolic exhibited anti-urolithiatic evident levels levels.

Eichhornia crassipes (Mart.) Solms possess many antioxidants like glutathione, ascorbic acid etc. Two skin creams of the ethyl acetate extract of E.crassipes were evaluated for its antiageing efficacy by DNA damage inhibition assay and DPPH radical scavenging assay. The DNA damage inhibition and DPPH radical scavenging ability offered by the skin creams increased with increase in concentration ...
متن کاملNitrogen Phytoremediation by Water Hyacinth (Eichhornia crassipes (Mart.) Solms)
The phytoremediation potential of water hyacinth, Eichhornia crassipes (Mart.) Solms, was examined in two independent studies under nitrogen (N) rates of 0, 40, 80, 100, 150, 200, and 300 ppm. A modified Hoagland solution was added to ponds containing water hyacinths which were rated and measured weekly for 4 weeks. The hyacinths accounted for 60–85% of the N removed from solution. Net producti...

15 صفحه اولHptlc Densitometric Quantification of Sterols in Ethyl Acetate Extract of Eichhornia Crassipes (mart.) Solms
Waterhyacinth is one of the fastest growing plants which disrupt the ecological balance. The plant inspite of its obnoxious nature, is a source of various pharmacologically active compounds. Sterols were isolated from the ethyl acetate extract of waterhyacinth and characterized to be a mixture of stigmasterol and β-sitosterol based on UV, IR, 1D and 2D NMR studies. Quantification of the isolate...
